Our HIAB Fleet

AC Lifting operates a modern, capable HIAB fleet — well-maintained lorries with a range of tonne/metre capacities so we can match the right truck to the right lift. No over-spec hire that inflates your bill, no under-spec compromise that risks the job.

What our fleet covers

  • HIAB-mounted flatbed lorries across multiple tonne/metre ratings
  • Full LOLER inspection on all cranes and lifting accessories
  • Chains, slings, shackles, lifting eyes and spreader bars — certified and carried as standard
  • Outrigger mats for soft ground and block paving
  • Well-presented, clean and tidy — retailers and premium customers get a truck they’re happy to have on the drive

Matching the truck to the job

HIAB lift capacity drops as reach extends. A truck that lifts 10 tonnes at 3 metres might only lift 2 tonnes at 12 metres. The right truck for your job depends on weight, distance between truck and lift point, and any obstacles in between. Tell us the weight and send a site photo or drop pin — we’ll spec the right truck and won’t over-charge you for capacity you don’t need.

Maintenance and standards

  • Fleet maintained to manufacturer schedules — no corner-cutting on safety-critical kit.
  • Operators ALLMI-trained.
  • LOLER examinations on record, inspection certificates available on request.
  • Fully insured — goods in transit, public liability, employer’s liability.

Frequently asked questions

How many trucks do you run?

A small, capable fleet — enough to cover regular account work and one-off jobs without subcontracting out. If the job needs extra capacity, we’ll say so up front.

What tonne/metre ratings do you run?

A range covering typical HIAB work — from lower capacity for light residential deliveries up to heavier trucks for structural and containerised lifts. Tell us the job and we’ll spec the truck.

Can I see certification before the job?

Yes — LOLER, insurance and operator tickets available on request.
